Starting point
Shopify has a unit price field, but the quantity has to be entered by hand for every variant, and nothing tells you when it is missing. Shopify keeps no price history for the 30-day lowest price at all.
Solution
PreisKlar reads the quantity from the product title, variant and options, suggests the unit price per 1 kg, 1 l, 1 m, 1 m² or 1 m³ and sets it in Shopify’s own field. From installation, the app records every price change and calculates, for compare-at prices, the lowest price of the 30 days before the reduction.

In Shopify’s own field
The theme shows the unit price next to the price itself, also in collections.
Find outdated values
Unit prices per 100 g or 100 ml are switched to per 1 kg or 1 l.
Exemptions respected
Below 10 g or 10 ml, perfume and decorative cosmetics need no unit price.
Automation
New and changed products get their unit price on save.

Under the hood
- Built on our own foundation for Shopify apps: billing, privacy webhooks, large-catalog mode and operations were in place from day one.
- Unit prices through Shopify’s own fields (unitPriceMeasurement), so themes show them without any extra script.
